Hi all,
there is an item A. It has defined UOM, EA and CAR. However, only Price for CAR is defined in Pricing Conditions.
I would like to set a control, so that this item only can be sold by CAR, NOT EA, at sales order.
Could anyone help out?
Cheers,
Chris
Maintain sale unit as CAR in sales orgn data1 view of material master.

Hi all,
thanks for your replies.
However, I need to restrict the sales UOM at sales order. So that, only the UOM defined with pricing conditions can be the sales unit at a SO.
If there are more than one UOM defined with pricing conditions, the material should able to be allowed in more than one UOM at Sales Orders.
For example,
Material A has UOMs as EA, CAR, BAG. at material master. Only CAR and BAG have defined with pricing conditions. The system should allow the material A to be shown in CAR and BAG.
The solution provided above only allow the material be sold in one UOM.
Could anyone provide more solutions?
Cheers,
Chris

Hi
Goto Basic data 1 for this material and click on ADDITIONAL DATA button in applicatio tool bar
ther u can maintain 1 EA = no of CAR
ex : 1 EA = 2 CAR
then in sale: sales org 1 VIEW
SALES UNIT : CAR
To be on safer side, if your selling unit is CAR and base unit / stocking unit is EA and you want to issue material in EA, then in Plant Data/stor.1 maintain UNIT OF ISSUE field as EA

Make EA as base unit of meaure and CAR as the Sales Unit in Sales Org1 under General DATA of the Material Master .System will automatically pic the CAR in Sales Order Create
