Hi all,
the SAP IDM operations guide contains a chapter about cleaning up IDM.
We want to cleanup table MXP_AUDIT (it currently contains over 41 million records), but nowhere a guide is found what may be cleaned up.
May we completely drop the content of this table or drop entries older than some months??
Does anybody has done this before? (and what did you do?)
Best Regards,
Bart

Hi
It must be up to you to decide for how long it is neccessary to keep the audit information. When you have made a decision on this topic, you could create a job, that deletes records with PostedDate older than xx, where xx represents the amount of time you need to keep the information.
In some countries there are laws stating how long this type of data must be kept depending on your business area - this might be a place to start
Kind regards
