PI installation in failover mode

I am installing Netweaver PI 7.0 in production environment. I have two Linux boxes. One box will host DB +CI and will act as primary node. 2nd box will act as failover box with the help of linux os cluster.

Can any one let me know which option should we select in sapinst to start instalation:

Central Instance or High Availability installation?

Hi

You should definitively choose a High Availability installation.

Even if they are all installed in the same node, the different instances need to be installed "separalty" : Central Services Instance for ABAP (ASCS), Central Services Instance (SCS), Enqueue Replication Server, etc ...

There area few differences between NW 7.0 and NW 7.1 in the cluster installation options but hte approach remains  the same.
