Reminders and Urging letters Printout

I want to print the Reminders and urging letters for the material which i have ordered, but not yet received

I have created a PO on 28.05.11

The Reminders are 1,2,3 days

Now i tried to take the printout of these Reminders and urging letters in ME91F

i entered PO number, Purch org,

System is throwing this msg

No suitable purchasing documents found

Message no. ME260

Pls guide me.......

have you ever outputted the origin PO ?

one of the most common errors a consultant makes when testing reminder letters is that the PO was never outputted, but if the PO was not submitted to the vendor, it is not allowed to remind the vendor.

Po Printout is also not coming when i try using the Me9f t code

System is telling Already processed but i have not taken the printout

In po Msg i have also assigned MAHN output type also

How to solve this????

Hi,

Under delivery tab in PO, specify the reminder 1, reminder2,reminder 3 date as 29/05/11, 30/05/11 etc. Also under MAHN output type specify properly the communication medium and option will be 3 for send option.Then use Tcode-ME91F

in the PO you need a message e.g. NEU which is printed.

you must not enter MAHN message yourself in the PO. SAP does it when you execute ME91F.

I created the PO with neu output type

I have released it

Reminder 1, 2, 3

delivery date is tomorrow (31.05.11)

I have taken printout also

Now if i execute ME91F system is throwing the Msg

No suitable purchasing documents found

Message no. ME260

if the delivery date is 31st, then you cannot remind on the 30th with your setting of 1, 2, 3

using negative reminder days like -1 can trigger a reminder letter today, or changing your delivery date to 29th. (dont forget to output the change message as well)

Now i created the PO with delivery date 29.05.11

i have released and took printout

then i went to ME91F, when i clicked on Execute button, system showed the PO doc

when i selected the check box and clicked on the messages and set the output type as MAHN

then i came back and i have selected the Generate messages button

Green color msg came Message Generated

How to see that msg?? and how to take the printout of it???

now you should see the MAHN message in ME23N and you should be able to select it in the print preview too.

I hope you had maintained message condition records with printer settings.

you can output the reminder letter with ME9F specifying message type MAHN

In Me9F

No print-relevant changes to document 4500000067 is coming

Some Red color X symbol is coming

In ME9F when i give the PO number both NEU and MAHN are coming but NEU when i select the check box and gave printout it is ok

But MAHN that X red color is coming

When i tried to find thru f1

No Documentation available

In Me23n also for the same purchase order i checked messages NEU output type the status is showing in green color

for MAHN is in Red color

which processing status indicator did you have in initial screen of ME9F when this happens?

is it 0 for not processed?

if so, then it is clear that you cannot remind the vendor, because you have not outputted the standard PO message

Thanks for all ur replies

I took the printout of the PO

Now if i go to Me9F if i try it is showing only the PO

I have changed to 1 it is showing only the PO NEU not the MAHN Reminder

i checked in ME23N, 2 output types have been assigned to the messages one is NEU it is in green color,

MAHN is in red color.

Pls guide me.......
