Hi all,

Environment :

BusinessObjects 4.0 installed on 64bit windows server.

Reporting database : IBM DB2 32bit client

We have created universe in information design tool on single source.

we are able to develop report on interactive analysis desktop but not in web based interactive analysis.

Getting following error

"Database error: (CS) "DBDriver failed to load : D:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\drivers\lib64\dbd_wdb2cli.dll (The specified module could not be found.

)" . (IES 10901) (WIS 10901)"

Does it related to DB2 32bit client ? do i require to install 64bit DB2 clinet on BO server?

Thank in advance.....

Anyone has a resolution?

Same problem with Sybase ASE.

Tried to install 64 bit drivers again and again.

JDBC has another kind of issues native connection seems best for our situation.

It would be best if you started a new thread as you have different DB type..

It would also help if you provide the actual error you receive, the exact workflow and other details.

I believe problem is independent from the database.

Nevermind i resolved issue by installing 64 bit drivers and define the connection by it.

The driver i tried before seems corrupt or something else.

As a summary both 32 bit and 64 bit drivers needed to be installed on server.

Hi,

Can I know how you define the connection ?

hi,

Probably your guess may be right.

Please check whether dbd_wdb2cli.dll exists in the below location.

D:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\drivers\lib64

Also, install 64-bit client for DB2.

Hi Guys

Has anyone been successful in resolving this? I have the same problem but on a Oracle DB.

If you're using ODBC, have you created a 64-bit data source?

Note that the IDT needs a 32bit and the server needs 64-bit.

The Data Source Manager for 64-bit data sources can be found here: "C:\Windows\System32\odbcad32.exe"

The 64-bit Data Source Manager for 32-bit connections is here: "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe"

Thanks David. I only got around to reading your response. Since both IDT and the server are on the same machine. I have problems configuring DSN's. As a workaround, I have used the JDBC connector which doesn't need a DSN

Thanks for your help anyway.
