SAP license not showing correct number

Dear Experts,

We have obtained SAP 12 professional licenses and 6 limited user licenses.

In the License Manager window it shows 18 professional user licenses.

However when we allocate these licenses to all the useres (including 3 super useres) SAP allows to allocate only 15 users for licenses.

We are using SAP B-1 SP0 PL 42

What is the issue on this?

i think you deleted user with sap license assigned. that's by you are facing this problem. delete the biupf.xml file from license folder and then reassign licences to users. your problem will be solved

While allocating,you check the users with available licenses....

I think there might be confusion in assignments of users....

I have unchecked all the users except manager (SAP admin) now it shows Total Numbers as 18 and Available Licenses as 14.

When we add manager (SAP admin) it counts to 15.

There is 3 licenses missed out.

Did you check the license component wise...

If you check this,you will get an idea of total licenses available per component i.e limited logistics,limited Finance etc

I have checked this info in License Administration > Component tab.

It shows in following way:

	Total Number	Available Licenses	Start Date	Expiration Date
Compatibility License for AddOns 	99999	99993	06.04.11	31.12.99
Professional User 	18	14	06.04.11	31.12.99
SAP AddOns 	99999	99994	06.04.12	31.12.100

One Professional User has been excluded as manager (loged in now).

Including manager it comes to 15 professional users.
