InfoPackage don't update Data Target

I Have a general problem that InfoPacjage didn't update any data target especially InfoCube

I am using the Data Flow 3X

When I am using DTP instead I succesfuly update data target

I need to know why InfoPackage didn't update data target?

hi Mohamed,

Make sure your infopackage data target is not PSA only, there are multiple selection like PSA, Direct to Data Target.. sequencially and paralller. If that is not the issue, is your datasource emmulated DS? or it is 3.X? make sure you use the correct datasource type.. you can change that in rsds tc. Still that is not the issue, then tell us if you are getting any error? is it specific to one datasource or to others as well? try to do it in background instead of dialog. Hope that helps.

I checked all the ways you mentioned

This happened with me when I use Data Flow 3X

I waited for the job to be finished and it give me dumb in BW

UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION" dumps

Exception CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE

Hi,

The usual issues with IP is due to the transfer structure inconsistency issues.

Do these steps.

1 - Replicate the datasource in BW and make sure it is activated properly.

2 - Activate your transfer structures with Pgm - " RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL".

3 - After it is successful, activate your cube with Pgm - "RSDG_CUBE_ACITVATE".

4 - After performing the above steps and ensuring your entire flow is active, run the IP again.

5 - IF nothing works try runnign the IP through function module BAPI_IPAK_START.

Let us know the results.
