Dear Experts,
I my Org we are using GERP (Global Ent Resource Planing). why they have called its GERP instead of SAP. if its any different is there. Need your answer . .

At end user level, it is very difficult to understand the entire system ladscape in any organization. You should look for end user manuals in various functional areas which can provide useful information or look for softwares installed on your PC such as SAP GUI which shows that the organization is using SAP. You should also take inputs from your collegues in other departments to understand their processes which may involve different ERP systems. IT department of a organization can also provide valuable details about system landscape.

Global Enterprise Resource Planning is the term used when you have ERP implementation in large global area and invloving multiple ERP packages like SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle etc....So in your organization, they might be using more than one ERP system including SAP and implementation is accross the Globe that means more than one country..
