depreciation error

Hi,

depreciation is calculating correctly ( declining balance method) but when i look values in posted amount under asset explorer.

AW01N. it is showing the depreciation for under period tab like for 2 4 6 8 10 12.

not showing for according to period wise. and i want to calculate depreciation on start date of asset it is showing for whold year.

Hi

You have got reply for one of your questions above

reply to 2nd question lies in Period Control... If you want to calculate Dep from the Capitaliztio date, select "Dep to the day" indicator in Dep Key (AFAMA)

For any other depreciation requirement i.,e Start of Month, Start of Previous month/Future month etc - Use Period Control Methods (AFAMP & OAVH)

It seems to be selection of by monthly posting at company code level for a particular depreciation area

Please check OAYR transaction, it is possible that you have set up posting rule as bi monthly here for company code in question.
