SXMS_REFRESH_ADAPTER_STATUS job in cancelled status

Hi,

I checked in SM37 and found

SXMS_REFRESH_ADAPTER_STATUS and SAP_BC_XMB_DELETE_100 are in cancelled status for few days.

Diagnosis

A conflict situation arose during an attempt to start a background job that processes the tables of the persistence layer.

System response

The last copy job was not completed successfully. The copy job will be executed once the switch procedure for deleting the processed XML messages is implemented and the tables have been reorganized (see also Switch Procedure).

Until the problem is resolved, no background jobs for the persistence layer can be started.

Procedure

Call transaction SXMB_MONI and choose Job Overview. Repeat the incomplete job. If the job cannot be completed due to database errors, first correct the database errors, and then repeat the job again.

Checked job overview in integration engine and found

Archiving: Delete Job (100)

Delete: Delete Job (100) in red status.

Rescduled it but no result .Unable to proceed further. Please guide how to check if any database error or not.

or what is the cause for cancelled status of job.

not got any parameter deletion in table SXMSPMAST.

please help.

Hello,

Please go to transaction SXMS_MONI_JOB and select the option

"Reschedule Terminated Copy Job" if you have not already tried this.

Should we have to "Reshedule Terminated Copy job" in SXMS_MONI_JOB everytime when this job fails.?

Hi,

Do you have the 'switch procedure' activated in your system ? ( This procedure will basically copy data between 2 messaging tables once the messaging threshold is reached ).

No other messaging jobs can run while the copy job is running ... it might be it started for the first time ( as you reached the threshold ) and it is either still running or it encountered an issue ...
