Hello Experts,

How do we set Period field value in "costs" tab of IT0167. It is configured as "Monthly" in "Cost Variant" (SPRO->Personnel Administration->Benefits->Health Plans->Define Cost variant. But in IT0167, Period field is set to "Semi Monthly". Please advice.

Thanks

Keeran

The "Period" field in IT0167 can be changed by the user. It is only a tool to enable to see the contributions according to various periods, not an element that has an impact on the premium.

As Remi said, this is to show contribution according to various periods, and does not affect the premium.

However, if you want the default to be monthly instead of semi-monthly, you can config V_T549W for the appropriate payment model of the benefit plan/period parameter and change cummulation type from 'L' (semi-monthly) to 'M' .

Hi Keeran

Initial default on the period field of the Cost Tab on infotype 167 is based on the payroll area of the employee.

The user then has an option to change and see costs based on different periods

Hope that helps

I hate to contradict you Nish, but all our Payroll Accounting Areas are bi-weekly (in table view V_T549R), and all our Health Benefit Plans are set-up as monthly (in table view V_5UBH_A), and when I look at the Costs tab of IT0167 the default period is monthly.
