Hello,
I am in the process of Importing the roles using CMC.
I have installed SAP Integeration kit 3.1 SP3
I downloaded SAP JCO for Windows Server on x64 64bit which SAP JCO 2.1 and patch is 10
I put
- librfc32.dll and sapjcorfc.dll under windows/SYSWOW64
- put sapjco.jar under tomcat55/shared/lib
- PATH variable includes path to the sapjco.jar
- CLASSPATH is also pointing to current path of sapjco.jar
I filled in the information about BI 7.0 server and also the user info which was created there under Entitlement systems tab
Now when I hit role import tab
I get error
Exception in JSP: /jsp/auth/sapsec_import_role.jsp:22 19: 20: <% 21: String context=secSAPR3ImportRoleBean.getContextPath(); 22: secSAPR3ImportRoleBean.init(request); 23: response.setHeader("Expires", "0"); 24: %> 25: Stacktrace:
Please help me resolve this.
Thanks,
M D
Hi,
I got exactly your issue when I tried to install sapjco-ntia64-2.1.9 (with same server configuration). Then I switched to sapjco-ntintel-2.1.9 and I solved it.
Kind regards.
Roberto.

Thanks for your replies.
My problem is I can't find JCO 32 bit for x86 platform.
There is one for IA32 and I went ahead and installed that now I am getting this error
JCO.classInitialize(): Could not load middleware layer 'com.sap.mw.jco.rfc.MiddlewareRFC' JCO.nativeInit(): Could not initialize dynamic link library sapjcorfc [D:\app\BOBJE\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\sapjcorfc.dll: %1 is not a valid Win32 application]. java.library.path [C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\;D:\app\BOBJE\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\]
I went to swdc->Installations and Upgrade->SAP Connectorrs->SAP JCO->JC) 2.1
and from there for windows there are 3 JCOs for windows environmet
1 Windows Server on IA32 32bit
2 Windows Server on IA64 64bit
3 Windows Server on x64 64bit
I have tried both 1 and 3 and
with 1 I am getting above error
When I had 3 I saw error as mentioned in my first post
Again
My OS is Windows 2003 64 bit x86 platform
Thanks again.
Regards,
M

Hi,
you need to use the 32bit version as BusinessObjects XI 3.1 is 32bit software.
