database view datasource-extraction

Hi guys!!

our cube gets data from a datasource based on database view.In my cube,I found out that one field is always empty.I wanted to check if this field is empty at PSA level...but PSA seems to be empty .How can I check what data my datasource(based on view) is extracting inorder to check if this field is empty at datasource level?

Hi,

Yes, RSA3. Or if its a view, SE12 too to see data in that view..

Hello there,

In your source system go to transaction RSO2 and insert your datasource name and click on display. You'll see the view table name.

Copy that and go to transaction se16 and paste that name in there and see the contents of the view.

You can also in your source system test the extraction of your datasource with the transaction RSA3.
