Error in UWL

Dear,

In UWL when the task is clicked , the following error is there :-

Service cannot be reached

URL

http://host:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/mss_catapproval/CatManage

rApprove call was terminated because the corresponding service is not

please let me know how to resolve this.

Hello Deepak,

Please check the System you have configured for the Web Dynpro Launcher System in UWL.

Once you get to know the System used , then check the WEB AS properties of that System.

Surely the configuration is missing.

The UWL item is trying to launch the CATS approval Webdynpro Java Application which is part of the MSS software components.

Application Name - CatManagerApprove

Namespace - sap.com/mss_catapproval

Have you deployed the MSS software components (based on your versions- MSS 600 for example) in your portal system ?

Check if this component exists from System Information. Then from Content administration - Webdynpro, check if the application is running or not.
