ADS SSL - Prompt for user and password

Hi,

I have a working ADS connection from a CRM 5.0 (WAS 7.0 SP16) to JAVA 7.0 SP21.

I am now trying to configure SSL for this same connection. I have followed all steps in the SAP Interactive forms configuration guide.

When testing the ADS connection with any of the FP_* programs (FP_TEST_00 , FP_TEST_IA_01 etc...) I am prompted for a user and password. I have tried ADSUSER, ADS_AGENT, JAVA Administrator ABAP account, domain account, but nothing will authenticate.

If I cancel the logon prompt I recieve the following error:-

SOAP Framework: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP send returned with status code(100,101).

The ADS HTTP connection in SM59 is set up and the test connection returns ok.

I think STRUST is setup ok as I was receiving an error that I have now fixed.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

Dear Andy,

Hope you are doing good.

Go to http://<javahost:javaport>/useradmin search for ADSUSER

If Datasource:

- LDAP -> check psw of ADSUSER in LDAP and enter it in SM59

- UME data -> check psw of ADSUSER in Visual Admin and enter it in SM59

- ABAP -> check psw of ADSUSER the ABAP system in the following client:

Visual Admin->UME Provider->Properties->ume.r3.connection.master.client

Also do check note 944221

Please set it in SM59 as follows: on the tab 'Logon & Security' set 'No Logon', save and after that check 'Basic Authentication' and set the usr and pws for ADSUser. If the error persists, enable the ADS Trace as described in SAP note 846610 and reproduce the problem->this will provide more info.
