Warehouse Name getting changed

Hi Experts,

Criticical issue in Item Master data. Whenever new itemcode has been created without default warehouse. Warehouse Code remains same but warehouse name is getting changed Ex: 01(code):General Warehouse(Whsname) it is changing it into 01(code): Conzinement Warehouse(Whsname)

Total number of warehouse is 30 in numbers. expecially name changes happening.

can any one give me suggessions on this..

Hi,

I have faced this situation too.Just follow below steps....

1. Delete all file from temp folder.

2. shutdown all client machine.

3. shutdown server machine.

4. restart server.

HI

The warehouse will appear as per the default warehouse which you have setup in

Administration->System initialization->General Settings.

Under 'Inventory tab',You will find the 'default warehouse' and also u will find the assigned warehouse to it....

So,This default warehouse will appear in the documents when you dont give default warehouse for that item...

Later,You can change the warehouse in the documents too...

Hi ramajayam,

If ur creating an item without any default warehouse the system will take the firsr warehouse as a default warehouse or if it is specified in general settings that warehouse will be taken by default.
