Hello,
This issue is related to MRP.
I have a material AC0001 which is a FERT Material and is produced inhouse.
It has MRP Type PD. In MRP 2 screan in the scheduling tab the In-house production is 5 days and the GR Processing time is 1 day.
The stock is Zero and there has a require which comes for 2 numbers.
For example, for material AC0001, I took the first MRP run on 5/17/11, but the first planned order created is for 5/11/11, which is in the past. Why would MRP propose a planned order in the past?
The answer to this is system is doing backward scheduling by considering inhouse production time of 5 days....generally system doesn't allow the dates to go in the past unless you do the customizing and make the system to allow scheduling in the past in the MRP parameters in SPRO.
The second portion of my question is, for the same material AC0001, the second MRP run is from 5/18/11 .On that day, planned order created has a date of 5/10/11, one day before than the previous date. Why would this happen?
Thanks & Regards
Nilesh
Dear Nilesh,
Check your scheduling parameters in OPU5,whether start in the past is defined for some days.

Hi Sir,
In your case, the total RLT time is 06 Days(In -House production time plus Gr processing time) .For the planne dorder to be generated to be in past looks into the SPRO.Please checkm in OPU5,in "Sechduiling control for detailed Sechduiling" is BACkward. Also please check inplant parameters "OPPQ", for that plant "Start in Past is active or not.
For the second query,Since the planned order is being created a day before the previous day, it may be possible that there may be two days holiday. That is the only reason seems
to be
Thx
