change of values in the webi report

Hi

webi report in QA is working fine .

but after moving to production the values have changed.

but bex report in production has got correct values.

these reports have graphs attached to them.

evn there is a change in a graph

what can be the reason for change of values?

but displayed value is 22456

its duplicating the 1st digit

if its 987

displayed value is 9987.

how to rectify this?

Can you create new WEBi report on Production and see how it is pulling values from BW. Thanks!

Shot in the dark:

Check your universe's connection in the production. It should be pointing to the BEX query which is pointitng to the production DB.

What I would do is debug for sample values in the webi report with that of the BEX report to find where additional rows are being pulled.

In the end I would take the BEX query which is populating the right data. Create a universe out of it. Repoint the existing production universe to this unvierse. The key is repointing the report to the appropriate bex query(and its derived universe).

That sounds quite bizarre. Please provide lots of details. What version, SP and FP of BusinessObjects are you using, what about NW?

Does this occur for all KF/measures? The numbers that are showing incorrectly, what are these objects in the BEx query? Characteristics, KFs, CKFs, RKFs?

If measures, what is the aggregation type in the universe?

What about, in the universe, if you create a calulated measure that is "measure + 10". What result do you get in webi?

E.g., if the value should be 234 and you're seeing 2234, what does adding 10 to the value do? Do you get 4488? Or 2244?

Please check at Universe level connection type & database it is pointing there.. It should be pointing to your Production dadatabse After migration you should change the connection at Unuiverse level in the . It may be one of the reason.. I think it should works fine..
