Difference between RTCUR (Key trans. curr) AND RWCUR (Original trans. curr)

Folks,

Can anybody help me understand the difference between RTCUR (Key trans. curr) AND RWCUR (Original trans. curr).

I have two documents posted as follows -

Document#1

Document type = ZP

Transaction currency = 0.00 CAD

Company currency = 0.00 CAD

Group currency = 0.02 USD

In table FAGLFLEXA I get as follows for document#1 -

Currency key (RTCUR) = CAD

Currency key of the original transaction currency (RWCUR) = CAD

Value in transaction currency (TSL) = 0.00

Value in local currency (HSL) = 0.00

Value in group currency (KSL) = 0.02

Document#2

Document type = AB

Transaction currency = 0.00 CAD

Company currency = 0.00 CAD

Group currency = 0.02 USD

In table FAGLFLEXA I get as follows for document#2 -

Currency key (RTCUR) = USD

Currency key of the original transaction currency (RWCUR) = CAD

Value in transaction currency (TSL) = 0.00

Value in local currency (HSL) = 0.00

Value in group currency (KSL) = 0.02

The reason I'm asking for the difference between RTCUR and RWCUR is because Document#1 is eligible for translation (0.02 CAD) and document#2 is not eligible for translation (0.02 USD).

Please ask me more questions if anything is not clear.

Hi,

please check your company code currency and document currency. Maybe they aren't in accordance with any currency. Check t-codes: OX02 and OB22.
