How to fix error "The task group has not been released"?

Hello SAP Experts,

I created a task list for my CHARM project, and now I'm trying to create Transport Request, but I'm getting the error:

The task group has not been released

Message no. /TMWFLOW/TASKLIST023

Diagnosis

A task can be performed or scheduled only when the task plan and the task group have been released. If task groups were created hierarchically, all task groups that are higher in the hierarchy than the current task have to be released.

Please advise how I can fix it?

Hi

Right click on the top task and choose unlock option

then try

morever you need to goto maintenance transaction and choose the status as SET TO IN DEVELOPMENT WITH RELEASE option
