Unable to Create analysis period

Hello All,

I am facing an issue with respect to creating analysis period for Cost Center.

The Current Analysis period is from 01.04.2007 to 31.12.9999

We go to KS02 Edit-> Analysis Period to create new analysis period from 01.04.2011 to 31.03.2012 we do the necesaary changes and press save.

But after we save the new analysis period, system prompts the message No changes were made and we are not able to see the new analysis period (01.04.2011-31.03.2012).

I have also tried changing the Analysis period from OKEO t-code but of no help.

Any idea how can we resolve this issue.

Hi Nitin,

Welcome to SDN,

While changing the analysis period in the cost center simultaneously change the Person Responsible in the Basic Data then the required change will take effect.

It's more accurate to say, that some change is required, e.g. description, type, etc. when changing the analysis period. Otherwise, the change has no sense.
