Hi All,

I want to show an demo to my client how an external catalog work in SAP me21n transaction. Please suggest if any one know any URL link which can be use for demo.

Hi

I am not sure how you will display demo of external catalogue using ME21 N(PO create transaction code), If you are using SRM system , you can configure any URL link in CAT(Catalogue attribute ) which helps to browse to the Catalogue and with OCI interface you can pick the content to your shopping cart /purchase request.

There is no provision to link external catalogue in R/3 transactions without any interface set up.

Hi,

Simailar to SRM, OCI interface is available in ECC in the following customization setting:

SPRO --> Materials Management --> Purchasing --> Environment Data ---> Web Services: ID and Description.

I dont think we need any other interface for linking external catalogue.

Appriciate if someone give some light on it.

ECC supports OCI and hence it can access an external catalog. For demo purposes you may have to contact DELL, Home Depot

and they may provide a demo OCI details.
