Hi Experts,
Asset base value became zero(fully depreciated) in company code. I need to retire this asset now. How can i do that? or do we have such kind of option available in sap? Please suggest.
i.e :- Asset 'A' acquisition value is $100000 and depreciated for 5 years with straight line method, In 5th year its book value became zero. Now i want to remove this from my business. Should i retire this asset or keep this asset as it is? If i want to reitre this asset then what should i do?
Regards,
Sam.

Hi Sam,
If the asset is no more used by business and there is no sance from business point of view, asset can be retired.
It can be retired through
ABAVN- Asset retirement by scraping
ABAON- Asset retirement without customer if there is any revenue
F-92, if asset is being sold to customer.
Thanks!!!
