Authorization missing error while trying to access PCR

Hello,

Logged into portal as User_1

When I am trying to access a PCR form in EPortal

It says "Authorization missing for notification type 56".

Now,

I logged into portal with User_2

When I am trying to access a PCR form in EPortal

It works fine.

I compares authorizations of both users in SU01 tcode and found...

User_2 which was working fine has a profile assigned with name SAP_ALL....

Now, if I assign this probile to User_1 as well....it too works fine...

So my task is to identify required authorization objects and packet them in some role...and assign that role to all MSS users....

Now i came out with below authorization objects required for PCR...

S_USER_GRP

S_BDS_DS

B_NOTIF

But above 3 authorization objects does not seem to work....

If gives error "Due to an internal error, the form could not be called"

What could be the right combination of authorization objects for both ess and mss.....

Actually we never noticed these issues because till now we were using users with SAP_ALL profile assigned....

Hi

1. use ST01 activate main trace

2. reproduce the error

3. use ST01 deactivate main trace and look for auth issues

If this doesn't help, look through your NWA monitoring default trace carefully.

EDIT: If your issue cannot be solved with this info, please post the entire error log for your error log entry "Authorization missing for notification type 56" from NWA default trace here.

Well I tried both of above...but none traces were available anywhere...

However I had a sneek in Configuring and Customizing Employee and Manager Self-Services in SAP ERP HCM book from SAP press and found the required information....

I was missing on below authorization objects:

s_service

s_rfc

p_pernr

plog

p_orgin

p_orgincon

p_hap_doc

However I dont know among them which are not required for me....and wot else I am missing on as per authorozations in ESS/MSS...

but for my current scenario it is working....nyways...any further inputs would be appreciated......
