Hi,
We try to set up our authorizations correctly in PI, but when I try to start the ESR of PI I get the message 'No authorization for this action'. My user has the administrator role, developer role en configurator role.
In the log I see I got logged on correctly.
Anyone any idea what the reason might be for this problem? Or is there a way to trace the autorizations onthe JAVA stack?
Thanks for reacting.
Kris
I was also facing same problem, though I had following roles:
BA:AMD:HSCM_XI_APPL_SERV_USE
BA:BSD:IPDM_PI_MONITOR_ABAP
BA:BSD:IPDM_PI_MONITOR_J2EE
BA:CUSTOMIZE_DISP
BA:ENDUSER_BASIS_NEW
BA:ITMD:GENERAL_DISPLAY
BA:XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER_ABAP
BA:XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER_J2EE
BA:XI_DEMOAPP
BA:XI_DEVELOPER
BA:XI_DEVELOPER_ABAP
BA:XI_DEVELOPER_J2EE
BA:XI_SLD_DEVELOPER
S:CTS_CR_ADMIN
S:DEVELOP_ALL
Z:EDPD:SUPPORT_ALL
Then I added following roles and it worked:
SAP_XI_DISPLAY_USER
SAP_XI_DISPLAY_USER_J2EE

Hi Kris,
Please go to Tools->User Roles->Open.
Check whether any User Roles are visible to you other than "Unrestricted".
If you find any User Roles created, copy that user role..Then remove this role which may be assigned to you on the JAVA stack.
This role may contain authorizations which is restricting you to use the objects in IR.
Thanks
Saurabh

Hello,
You could also try the following:
Clear the Java Web Start cache
Java Web Start > File > Preferences > Advanced > Clear Folder
Restore the Java Web Start archives:
http://<server>:<port>/dir/start/index.jsp > Administration > Repository/Directory tab
-> Java Web Start Administration -> Restore Archives
If this fails you could try applying the latest patches for the XI components:
XIAF, XIAFC, XITOOL, XIGUI, MESSAGING
