Stock removal for delivery

I have 2 storage types,in which FG products are stored.When i try to do a delivery for a sales order ,if the materialis not available in the 2 storage types,the material is directly picked from 901.

How the system is picking the material from 901 even when it is not given the search startegy?

which picking strategy do you use?

if stringend FIFO, then SAP looks everywhere.

In master data for storage type for 901 it is given F

But in OMLY for mvmt type 601-E 901 is not given

maybe you have *** assigned in OMLY for mvmt type 601-E

Interim storage types should not have a picking strategy assigned

There is no *** in any.

If i remove F in 901 will the system stop searching in 901
