Kindly excuse me but what exactly you need by best practices for this stuff. User manuals?

Best practices are generally meant for functional processes like procurement, make to stock, or selling activities and not for the master data creation activities. You can map procurement process by n number of ways. But the best practice for procurement means the one which is being followed worldwide.

Letu2019s consider the case of MIC creation (master data) which you have mentioned. There are standard screens like control indicators for this if you go to QS21. Same is the case for sampling also. No matter for which industry you are creating. I mean irrespective of industry types whether it is automotive or pharmaceutical process for MIC creation remains same. Nomenclature and controls may vary.
