Reversal of 553 throught usage decision poasting

Dear All,

I have some issue regarding reversal of 553 through usage decision posting.

i want to reverse inspection lot which will be generated against production order thought usage decision stock posting 553 .

Use

SAP NOTE 175842

Document specific reversal

or

MB1A--->554

Activate 05 inspection type

This will create inspection lot of 08 ,then take UD & stock posting.

But this lot will not be with reference to the original production order.

Actually i want to reverse the origin document which will be posted through usage decision 553 against production order.

I want to reverse inspection lot which will be posting 533

if i do reverse thought MB1B then it will be reverse against cost center but i want to reverse on production order

Hi,

As Sujit has rightly pointed out, for document specific reversal there is no any other option but to implement note 175842.

Under ideal circumstances such incidences for reversals should not occur. Perhaps strict user discipline is the only solution for this. Note 175842 would not be applicable for materials handled with serial numbers.

Another work around, (This would not be document specific reversal)

Try MB31. Input order number and movement type as 102. By default stock type would be "X" i.e. for quality inspection. Remove it and keep blank. This will pick the stock from unrestricted use and against same order.
