Sample size on the basis of alternate unit of measure and sampling scheme

We have to use sampling scheme to find the sample size. Material base unit of measure is Kg and alternative UoM is Bag, 1 Bag = 25 Kg is maintained in material master.

We need to find the sample size using packaging UoM though GR is posted in Kgs. I have created:

1. Sampling Procedure (to be used with Sampling Scheme)

2. Sampling Scheme

3. Sample Drawing Procedure

4. Inspection Plan

We did GR of 25000 Kg, (that is equal to 1000Bags), sample size should be calculated on the basis of bags. But system is not calculating sample size correctly (that should be 10 Bags, on the basis of 1000 bags received)

regards

Chris

You can set the UOM as bag in the plan header, operation header and on the mic.

Just changing the UOM in the inspection plan header won't change it all the way through.

To change an existing plan, all the materials assigned to it must also have a "bag" UOM.

You might be better of creating a new plan from scratch if there are other materials assigned.
