target hours in CATS

Dear All,

I have 2 issues in CATS.

01.when i enter time more than 8 hours. system leveling the time as 8 hours (target hour is 8 according to the workschdule rule)

Ex. If i enter 10 hours, system leveling this time as 8 hours.

02. when i enter the time for off days.. its giving 0 values.

Ex. if i enter 5 hrs on saunday (off day) system leveling it as 0.

I have checked the profile settings.. but still its giving the same ..... can anyone help me what i need to do??

Don't select "Workdays only" option in CAC1 for your data entry profile.

Try this solution and test. Do let us know the results.

Leave it blank to take the HR planned hours

Hi Ravee,

I have checked the "time type target hrs" but there is no any time type assigned to that particular field..

I have tried all possible ways..i just remove the attandance and absence type and i assigned the wage time in the profile settings.

now its accepting the times for off days as well as the hours more than 8 .

but if i assigned the att.abs type in "defauld value" tab in proffile.. its not working.

any idea??

Hi

Remove the default value of wage type too it will work.

Default values are like features in CATS they default the value you configure here in the sheet for Data entry... you can overwrite the default value if you want.

But when the type is defaulted it needs to have an entry or else you can delete the default value in the sheet and it will allow you the values as required.
