UWL BPEMConnector Error: while silently connecting: org.w3c.www.protocol

Hi Experts,

We are getting following exception on UWL,:

Exception type:java.lang.RuntimeException Message:Error while silently connecting: org.w3c.www.protocol.http.HttpException: Connection refused: connect

We are on CE 7.2 SP04, strangely this exception doesn't occurs always but sometime. when ever it comes no new tasks appear in the UWL although tasks are alive and running (Checked in manage processes). Please suggest, any pointer will be helpful and will be appreciated.

Hi,

I am not sure about the exact cause, but in general if the host name and connection type (http or https) are not maintained properly in the system properties for connecting to CE system, then this error occurs.

Even I had this issue before and when I check the properties of the system created to access the CE system, I found that some one has changed the host URL and is why it was giving that error.

So, I have faced with the same problem: after I had started my task I did need to communicate with that through Portal but by the path Home - Work Universal Worklist I got warning like yours were.

Thinking of resolving ways I decided to try turning off my Firewall, suprisignly, but my problem disappeared and after I have turned it on my problem does not appear
