Hi hi ~~

I need to create a report with arrows to indicate increase or decrease of the figures. Anyone knows how to add arrows or +/- sign in Webi?

Thanks a billion for your help! 😃

(Any other ways to represent change in figures would be fine too)

If you have the previous value then use a formula or alerter.

The logic would be something like:

If [Value current] > [Value previous]; "+" else "-"

To add to that...

If you're showing the movement as a number as well you can define your formatting (Right Click > Format Number...) as having a + in the 'Positive' box and a - in the 'Negative' box.

Also, alerters can do images, so you can even show fancy traffic lights/icons if you want.

hi,

WEBI provides a feature called 'Data Tracking'

where in you can set the reference data at particular datetime.

As and when you refresh if your data changes, Green and Red colors indicate increase and decrease of measure values.

To activate data tracking

Click Track on the main toolbar to display the "Activate Data Tracking" dialog box.

You can go through WEBI user guide for more information.
