RUNALLOCATION Performance

Hi All,

I am executing an Allocation script which allocates to Customer and Material at the same time from one Data Source to another. I have about a few thousand members in each of these two dimensions (although the valid combination records in reference data source are not more than 5,000) , the function just doesnt execute. After going on and on for a while, it dumps.

It does work fine if I do one customer or one material at a time but not when I use combination.

Is there an upper limit to the master data combinations? Shouldn't the system just be looking for valid combinations ?

Can you please tell what is the error message in the dump and where it dumps?

Hi,

As there is no limit to check the combinations.its only the performance effect when ever the No of combination records increases.

Can you let us know how your trying to write the allocation for the same.
