Cannot transport datasource

I am trying to create a copy of an existing infocube (ZSD_C09) in our development environment. As part of this process I created an infosource/transfer rule/datasource by right clicking on the infocube in rsa1 ->Additional functions->Generate Export Datasource. Now when I try to transport from the dev to QA it fails with the following errors:

Extract structure /BIC/CE8ZSD_C09 is not active

The extract structure /BIC/CE8ZSD_C09 of the DataSource 8ZSD_C09 is invalid

Errors occurred during post-handling RSA2_DSOURCE_AFTER_IMPORT for OSOA L

The 8ZSD_C09 datasource is active in rsa1, and when I select the /BIC/CE8ZSD_C09 extract structure via rsa6 it also says it is active. Does anyone know what is wrong here or can point me in the right direction?

First Transport the Original infocube and then copied infocube.

Hi,

I guess you would need to generate export datasource in each system, in your case now, in QA and then move the transfer rules, infosource, etc.

I had the same issue with export datasource of a master data infoobject and did the same.
