Inquiry: LO/QAAWS Connection problem

Hi,

Just would like to inquire if any of you would know of any issue of LO/QAAWS connection getting affected by internet connection speed.

We are experiencing some intermittent problem with data showing on and off for different users.

I'm thinking that mayb the connection speed might be triggering the connections to be broken.

Hope to hear some inputs from community here.

hi,

Could you please elaborate more.

Iam assuming the below scenario and providing the solution.

"QaaWS and LiveOffice are used as data connections for Dashboard and deployed to InfoView.

Users are accessing dashboard from InfoView. They are seeing data on and off."

This ON and OFF behaviour occurs with the Refresh Option settings for QaaWS and LiveOffice.

Data -> Data Manager -> Query as a Web Service -> Usage -> Refresh Options.

Data -> Data Manager -> Live Office -> Usage -> Refresh Options.

Ensure that "Refresh Every" option is Unchecked.

After Unchecking the option for both connections, Save and export the dashboard to InfoView.

Now ON and OFF behavior will not occur.
