Consequences of different Company Codes in Networks and WBS

Hi experts,

I'm aware that we are able to use many different Company Codes in a Project (while they all have the same Controlling Area) in multiple ways.

But what's the point of having the network header assigned to a company code and its activities to a different one? It must be some consequences worthy to keep in mind, which?

And why network's company code can not be changed while WBSE's can?

Hi

Since the network play no part either in logistics or in accounting, I dont see any impact of the header being in a different company code (in case of the activity account assigned networks) except reporting.

I've also seen that the plant of a component must be the same one of the activity to which the component is assigned.
