Hi retail experts,

Does anybody have any idea how SAP calculates dynamic target stock in SAP retail. It will be better if you reply with example.

Hi,

Navigate to SPRO>MM>Consumption-Based Planning>Planning>Lot-size Calculation-->Define Lot Sizing Procedure

You can check the standard documentation for the Calculation as well..

Thanks for reply.

But I am not using Lot Size calculation, I am interested in retail based Inventory Management and want to know how system calculates Dynamic Target Stock while replenishment run through WRP1.

Hello,

In WRP1, the target stock calculation is based on target range of coverage (WRPL-TRCOV). This is entered in days and target stock will be based on requirement per day and how many days you want to have the coverage.
