When I tried to add new users from available domain, it's getting hanged. From there on, I need to close the admin with Task manager and try from the beginning, getting this very often. Please help in optimizing or getting rid off it.

This is one of tricky area you control. Recommend escalating it to SAP Support.
The possible reasons among many actual reasons,
1. To big and complicate the domain structure, therefore it takes a lot of time to read the structure.
2. The Install User(BPC) is not authorized to look at the domain structure and objects.
3. BPC does not know the AD setting, if you are using suffix, try to use it instead of domain name(Netbios)
I am not sure you can find any meaningful clue from bullets above since there are many reasons for AD actually. Hope this helps,
