Password problems with SDM or NWDS

Hi,

One of our Developers creates a Problem with our SDM.

She connects with the SDM and deploys Files.

Everything is fine.

But the next time she wants to connect, she gets a message that she has the wrong password and we have to restart the SDM

First we thought that she just types in the wrong password but she has this problem every time.

We think that there is a Problem with the NWDS. But we dont know what it could be.

I hope someone can help.

Dear Christopher,

Hope you are doing good.

For more analysis, it will be better that you enable the NWDI logging as per note: 751640 - How To Configure Logging For NWDI Developer Studio. Then reproduce the problem,and check the logs and more detail wil be available.

An analysis of the same along with the SDM logs will help you investigate more.

Updated SDM logs :/usr/sap/<SID>/JC<nr>/SDM/program/log

Hi Christopher,

Please check if you can directly able to login in SDM Gui. if successful then check in ERROR log in NWDS at Window u2013 Show View u2013 Other... u2013 PDE Runtime >> Error log

Also check the server host name and message port updated in the NWDS > Window > properties ..

Hi,

Check whether the SDM password got locked and check the DTR URL you have given in the DTR configuration pool.
