Approval in STS ?

Hi,

We are using Fund center hierarchy in STS for approval, so respective fund center email id's are entered in STS.

However, we also need the approval by Commitment items, which mean that once the data is submitted at Fund Center/Commitment items it should go to respective people responsible for respective commitment items in a Fund center.

Is it possible to enter multiple user id/email address in STS so that mail is triggered to multiple users responsible for respective commitment items.

Hi,

You can enter multiple e mail id separated by ; (semicolon). Also you can add DL( distribution list) of emails .

Thanks for the answer.

We understand now that mails can be triggered to multiple users, however the user should only be able to see the committment items he is authorized to approve within a fund center.... for eg. FC A, CI.a, CI.b, CI.c -- data entered for this. However, user A should be able to see/approve for FC A, CI.a, user B should be able to see/approve for FC A, CI.b...

can we acheive this by adding the users in subsitute list and providing them master data based authorizations for fund center and committment items.

The substitutes in STS are for (responsible) users, not the entities, unfortunately.

Can we send email with the input layout link to all the users meintioned in substitute list and they can access the layout which will be visible based on the committment item authorizations given to them in user ids'. Please advise if this is the solution to configure approval mechanism based on more than 1 authorizaton object...
