adding alias to BI Mastersystem

Dear friends,

I am working with NW Support desk tool for BI system. In this for test system, we have a error reported for check BI Mastersystem. We have a dual stack system with version 7.00 SP20.

Check message : The system flagged as BI Mastersystem 'PRDCLNT008' does not have an alias named 'QUACLNT008'.

Solution : Add the alias 'QUACLNT008' to your BI Mastersystem (Systemlandscape/SAP_BW).

Can someone tell me where can i do this.. i tried to find a way without success.

This seems the name of Logical System. So does this Logical system QUACLNT008 exists on BI ? Check on BD54

Hi Subhash,

QUACLNT008 is not the logical system name of test system(SCC4 settings). similarly PRDCLNT008 is also not a logical system name for Production system.

Still should i maintain these 2 in BD54.. ?

It seems Technical name of your system on System Landscape. You can check this link, may be this can give you some idea how to troubleshoot

I added a new alias in tha path > System Administration -> System Configuration -> System Landscape > SAP_BW > System Aliases.
