Error: Tax code error when adding Puchase Order (service type)

Hi All

A client is having an issue when adding purchase orders.

They are currently on SAP8.81 PL04.

A user add a service type PO, and it goes for approval. Once the document is approved, the user cant add the document..

The user gets an error : Tax data is missing ArrayOfset 12, srcLineNum 2, srcGroupNum -1.

The document is a 3 line doc, with the 3rd line populated with a comment.

I cant seem to delete that line..Im guessing because it was approved.

Is this a known issue for this patch as they seem to have a few POs that they cant , is there a workaround?

Hi Jerusha,

Based on your description, it is highly likely a bug. You should upgrade your PL to try again.

i had tested the same sanario on my system. i m also using sap 8.81 pl 04a nd its working fine

In this case, it must be data inconsistency that cause the error.
