WM HU - Clarifications about partial pallets process

Hi SAP Gurus,

I'm new to WM HU module and I need some help about partial pallets process in WM HU.

First of all, how does SAP recognize a partial pallet ?

Does SAP relies on quants ? Wich means : when a quant is in a quantity smaller than a standard HU, than it is considered as a partial pallet.

> If it's right, wich master data does SAP takes into consideraton in order to compare with quantity of the quant ? Is it the data assigned in view Warehouse Mngt 2 (palletization data) ? Or is the the data assigned in Warehouse mngt 1 (base unit of measure or WM unit) ?
