Hide a filed in OM Infotype

How can we hide a filed in OM infotypes.

I need to hide field business area field in IT1008 .Client's requirement is such that they dont want to have this field in master data.

I am able to hide this in PA 0001.

Hi,

To hide any feild for any of the info type do the customising changes in table T588M.

Go to the particular info type module pool screen and select the option HIDE.

The data of module pool and screen number will be available in F1 techinical info

Hi

Tables T778T,T77CD is ued for Screen modification for Om infotypes .

Alt screens need to be build with fields required and assgined in these Tables ..

HI,

You can simply create alternate screen in table T588M here copy the standard one give the different variable key and alternate screen number. but if you want that the same screen will appear as well in PA 30 or PA 40 then in table V_T582A change the screen number and in table V_T577 give values Y & N accordingly.
