Hi experts

i will tell my scenario

1)we have created the item as inventory item

2) so that they are changing the description and doing the transation

3) now problem came in that . . . for example we have created the sataionary (item Description)

will purchase by changing description as pen in NOS,

but while purchasing Ink it will be by KGs

so it depends.

4) so they require the UOM to be changed. ie they required the column UOM and they need to enter manually?

moreover it in non inventory item

what i can do in this scenario

Hi Anand,

tick 'Unit of Measure' Visible and Active - in Form Setting

now you can enter manual UOM in that Document.

HI

It depends on the marketing documents which you are using....

If its Purchasing documents then the UOM is related to purchasing data..

or if its sales documents then the UOM is related to sales data...

Since its not an inventory item,The UOM dont have any effect to Inventory related documents

Non-Inventory Items never takes effect on Stock/Inventory.

this is just for reporting purpose.
