Hi,

we have a plant depo in sap ( for trading business trading registration )

I did configuration in cin for same

1) create Po 2 ) did MIGo ( on excise tab select Create RG23 D )

when display MIGO i found excise invoice status in post but no accounting doc is generated. I check table is update for same

i am not sure only entry update for RG23D or accounting doc also generate

Check excise g/l accounts were mapped

for combination ETT- GRPO,Chart of accounts,excise group etc. in CIN SPRO settings ?

Here no cenvat accounting since it is a trading plant. Only there will be entry in RG23D register. excise invoice is stored in register only

Legally Depo plants should not create excise invoice

Please clear its correct ?

In Depot, you will not have any "CIN" accounting entries, a depot cannot create an Excise invoice since there is no Manufacturing activity/ value addition occuring at a depot, we can only create "Depot invoice" in a RG23D depot plant.

in CIN, only the duty values are updated in RG23D Tables along witha Folio tracking number.

Hi,

For depot there is no configuration for account determination.Hence no accounting entries will be generated for Depot transaction
