Hi,

In SPDD and SPAU check go to the screen and list out the objects /corrections which it is showing .

If you forward it to your ABAP team they will do the changes and give the modification adjustment transport.

Only thing which you have to do is make a note of SPDD and SPAU corrections so that your developer will correct them and give the transport requests which you have to import into the system either at the end or during the process.

Thanks,

Hi,

After completion of Support pack activity, do we need to reimport the transport request in same system ?

Hi Praveen,

Please find the below link

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/709abcf3-7d77-2c10-8d86-b9d2cb01c...

Will give you nice idea about SPDD and spau

We will edit the objects and save them in transport so next time when we do it in TST and PRD will import these transports

Thanks,

Deepthi

Dear Praveen, This is how you need to handle SPDD and SPAU while performing support patch upgrade.

while patching in your development system.

If SPDD screen comes - you need to stop and report it to your abap development team - once they complete SPDD and enclose it into transport request you can proceed with further patching.

If SPAU screen comes - you need to call transaction SPAU take the snapshot of the the reported corrections in it and send the details(snapshots) to your abap development team they will create the transport request which can be further imported in Q and P systems while patching. SPAU corrections can be done later also that is once you have completed your patching.

hope it helps you.
