STO - No overdelivery allowed.

Hi

I have a business requirement in STO, where I should not allow to create delivery more then ordered quantity. Standard SAP will allow over delivery in STO. Does there is any solution like OSS notes etc.

Standard SAP does not support 'over delivery' tolerance for STO deliveries; however, there's a provision to enable under delivery tolerance (applies for version 4.7 and up).

Check this note. This does provide an option via modification however, modifications to standard programs are typically a big no-no.

Thanks for response, but I need to check over delivery tolerance. Does this can be achieved by configuration or OSS ?

There is no configuration to enable over delivery tolerances for STO's. As indicated, check the note that suggests a 'modification' (not recommended) or you may venture into a user exit or Badi to achieve this (may be Badi LE_SHP_GOODSMOVEMENT) to influence a custom over delivery check before PGI.
