performance in tabel CE4XXXX in VA01

Hi,

I would know why the transaction VA01 access the table CE4XXXX (here is CE4cmex). because the value flow is active only in billing document.(VF01)

The values flow in sales ordes is unmarked (transacation KEKF).

I cheked the transaction KEKE, here is marked options Active Status = 4 - Component active for both types.

Can I change to options "2 - component active for costing-based Profitiblity Analysis." ?

This options 4 is active for a long time. May give a error if I change now ?

Here I use the costing-based PA.

Its really not advisable to change the Type of COPA you use... It would cause follow up problems especially on the Open Sales orders / PGIs

All the open SO are likely to give you error when you process billing... Try this in a test client 1st and take it ahead based on your experiences there

Hi,

A profitability segment number is AUTOMATICALLY derived during sales order creation only in one of the following 3 cases

- the incoming sales orders entry is active (transaction KEKF)

- the account-based PA is active (transaction KEKE)

- it's a sales order for make-to-order production.

So even though the first scenario is not valid in your case check if the other 2 scenarios are valid
