Extra Row Inserted in Crosstab for Show Top/Left Header !!!!

Hi,

I have a simple crosstab report between Area (dimension), Date and Sales Revenue.

If I hide the Top Header and the Left Header of the Crosstab (using Show Top Header, Show Left Header options for Crosstab)

then an extra row of Top and Left Header along with a blank row is inserted into the Crosstab everytime I open the report in Edit mode and Show the headers.

Is this some bug with BO 3.1 ??

Thanks

Raktim

Does it happen if you insert a Calculation or sum of your values? Then just delete the extra rows.

Hi,

No there is no calculation inserted. I simply create the crosstab, hide the headers, save and close.

Next time I again open the report in Edit mode, and unhide the headers I see two new rows get inserted; one blank and the other one a duplicate header row.

Thanks

I tried the steps that you have mentioned in the previous post, but I don't see any issue with the same. I get exactly the same output which I had earlier.

Have you also checked the box for "Show Object Names" in the property window ? If yes then that might be the reason.
